Set in the turbulent Shanghai concession of the 1930s, where chaos and shifting fortunes prevail. Jiang Xin (Tang Yan) and Du Xiaohan (Yang Rong), one is an upcoming noble lady about to be recognized, the other is a daring female thief on the run. However, in an unexpected maritime accident, the thief steals the noble lady's identity, usurping her life, claiming the man she once loved, and rising to prominence.
